Overview

Dubbed the 'last Indian Village' on Indo-Tibet Border, Mana in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand is definitely an exciting place to visit. The place has its close proximity to the religious site of Badrinath and is situated at a short distance of about 4 km from this important pilgrimage site. Mana Village is located at an altitude of around 3219 meters and on the bank of River Saraswati. It boasts pristine beauty of the Himalayan peaks and of verdant greenery, and thus make an ideal place for the lovers of nature..

A lot of people also trek in the nearby areas of the village to explore the lesser known trails that are filled with views and sites that can leave an indelible mark on the heart and mind forever..

Neelkanth

About 3.2 km by road and then a trek of approx 7 km from the village and known as the Queen of Garhwal, the Neelkanth Peak is situated at an altitude of about 6597 m from the sea level.

Badrinath Temple

It is one of the holy temples of India, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Badrinath is one of the Chardhams and Chota Chardhams, and thus, is quite an important Hindu pilgrimage site. It is situated about 4.4 km from the Mana Village..

Vyas Gufa

This is the place which is popular because the great Hindu Sage Ved Vyas lived in the Mana town and it is said that he wrote the 4 Vedas in this very cave. This cave is just 200 metres away from the village.

Vasudhara falls

Located at a distance of approximately 8 km from the Mana village, the Vasudhara falls is another attraction for the tourists visiting this place. It is just a 2.8 km by road and then approx 5 to 6 km trek has to be done to witness these breathtaking fall
